Identifying the Socially Isolated: Stakeholders Discussed Recommendations on how to Identify the Socially Isolated

On February, 10th, an online stakeholder dialogue was conducted by the SLHS on the topic of “How do we identify lonely and socially isolated older people in Switzerland?”. The dialogue brought together 11 stakeholders from governmental authorities, senior organizations and NGOs, as well as educational institutions. The experts discussed who should be involved in the identification process, what data on loneliness is available or could be collected and used in Switzerland, and how campaigns could be used in order to effectively raise awareness and reduce stigma. The Policy Brief and the summary of the stakeholder dialogue are available here.
