The policy brief examines existing low-threshold services in German-speaking Switzerland that support parents whose children or adolescents are awaiting psychiatric or psychological assessment, treatment or psychotherapy, and uses this as a basis for contributing to the discussion. It thus focuses on a period that is actually undesirable, but which has steadily gained in importance in recent years.
