Thereupon, three Rapid Response Reviews on the response of non-profit assitance and homecare services, Ticino's hospital system and nursing homes have been written. On February, 10th, an online stakeholder dialogue was conducted by the SLHS on the topic of “How do we identify lonely and socially isolated older people in Switzerland?”. The dialogue brought together 11 stakeholders from governmental authorities, senior organizations and NGOs, as well as educational institutions. The experts discussed who should be involved in the identification process, what data on loneliness is available or could be collected and used in Switzerland, and how campaigns could be used in order to effectively raise awareness and reduce stigma. The Policy Brief and the summary of the stakeholder dialogue (in German) will be available soon.
The funding program "Interprofessionality in Health Care 2017-2020" implemented by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) aimed to strengthen the collaboration of professionals from different disciplines and professions and thus to increase the efficiency of health care. The findings were summarized in four policy briefs, which were developed in collaboration between the FOPH, Interface and the Swiss Learning Health System (SLHS). The four policy briefs (currently only available in German) are on the topics of interprofessional collaboration in inpatient and outpatient care, and at the psychosomatic interface, as well as on promoting interprofessionality in education.

Over the last weeks, the "Health Systems and Policy Monitor“ (HSPM) has been setting up a website (The COVID-19 Health Systems Response Monitor HSRM) that aims at collecting and organizing up-to-date information on how countries are responding to the COVID-19 outbreak. It focuses primarily on the responses of health systems but also tries to capture wider public health initiatives. The website was set up as a response to the WHO EURO Regional Director Hans Kluge`s inquiry to collect and organize information on how different health systems are responding to the challenge of COVID-19. It is also foreseen to develop cross-country analysis of health systems responses (trends and key lessons).
The Website currently includes information for most of the countries in the WHO European Region, including all EU Member States, and is updated regularly.
The Swiss Learning Health System has been asked to provide an overview over the current situation in Switzerland. The Operational Unit of the SLHS started setting up the country page for Switzerland on April, 15 2020. The information will be continuously updated, at least until early June 2020.
