Prof. Gerold Stucki
Gerold Stucki is Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Sciences and Medicine at the University of Lucerne and Director of Swiss Paraplegic Research in Nottwil, Switzerland. He is also the Director of the ICF Research Branch, a cooperation partner within the WHO Collaborating Centre for the Family of International Classifications in Germany (at DIMDI), at Swiss Paraplegic Research Nottwil. He received his medical education at the University of Berne, Switzerland, and obtained a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health and a diploma in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of McGill, Montréal, Canada. In 2012, Prof. Stucki received the honour of becoming a Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Medicine, a part of the United States National Academies whose mission is to serve as adviser to the nation to improve health by consulting on issues relating to biomedical science, medicine, and health.
